MEDICAL COLLEGE CALCUTTA Passed with Honours and University Highest Marks in ENT.
Internship:
In different departments of Medical College Calcutta for one year when I developed a keen interest in General Surgery
DNB part 1:
While doing Internship I passed DNB Part 1 in Surgery
Housestaff:
I did House job in Surgery under renowned teacher DR DIPAK GHOSH & DR DHIRAJ CHAUDHURI for one year
MS General Surgery:
Ranked 291 in All India PG entrance In selection test of Postgraduate Entrance selected for MS in most of the
renowned institutions of INDIA including JIPMER .
I ranked 6th in the CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY MS/MD entrance the same year
I chose to do MS in IPGMER Calcutta as it was a tertiary institute in West Bengal with maximum scope for hands on training.
I passed MS and stood First in Calcutta University on that year and got GOLD MEDAL from Association Of Surgeons of India.
I also got First Certificate of Merit for Research work on THYROID diseases and got First Certificate of Merit for Annual Examination
PLAB Test UK:
Passed the very tough PLAB Test and cleared it in one attempt and got the Medical Registration from General
Medical Council to practice as a doctor in UNITED KINGDOM.I have full registration with GMC UK
FRCS Part 1
I passed FRCS Part 1 of the Royal College of Surgeons ,Edinburgh in one attempt.
DNB:
I passed DNB of the National Bord of Examination ,India from New Delhi just after passing MS
FRCS ---Royal College og of Surgeons & Physicians of Glasgow
I went to England and passed FRCS soon after
FRCS---Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
After passing Glasgow examination I also passed the FRCS Edin

Prof Dr Mriganka Mohan Das:
The legendary surgeon .I worked under him for 7 years till I left for England.I got exposure to most general and abdominal surgery while working with him.
Prof Dr Dipak Ghosh:
The famous Hepatobilliary and Pancreatic surgeon with whom I worked for 3 years and learnt the art of hepatobilliary and pancreatic surgery including Pancraeatic stones,cancers,billiary fistula and stricture operations.
Mr P J Billings:
Excellent colorectal surgeon from whom I got training in management of Colorectal Cancers and TME in Wrexham,UK
MR Alfred Cruschieri:
It was through his training course that I got training in Laparoscopic Surgery at Dundee in Scotland
Mr PJ Marsh:
He wsa trained in the famous bowl cancer institute at Christies ,Manchester and he inducted me to the advanced gastrointestinal Surgery.
Mr Andrew Houghton:
With him I worked in an Unit dealing with Vascular and Endocrine surgery including parathyroidectomy.
Mr Basil Fozart:
I was working with him in Bournemouth in a GI Surgery unit
Family Background:
I was born in a family of academicians.
FATHER: Surgeon ,famous Prof Madan Mohan Chaudhuri,ex-Professor of Surgery and was the First VICE CHANCELLOR of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. PASSED AWAY ON 6/1/11 .MY GUIDE
MOTHER : famous Gynaecologist Prof Gita Chaudhuri EX Head of the Department of IPGME&R
My Grandfather was a famous Advocate of Murshidabad.and President of BAR COUNCIL OF RAGHUNATHGANJ
I am married to Debasri and blessed with son ARITRO and one daughter ARPITA both studying in LAMARTINERE CALCUTTA
